8/2009 – 10/2009     Nokia BTS Integrator

·         (BTS Integrator) Installed Nokia Ultrasites, Commissioned Nokia BTS and Nokia LMU, Punched down alarm blocks, wire wrapped T1’s, performed Antenna Cut-over with Ericsson TDMA, Integrated Nokia BTS. This contract was involved in Northern Louisiana for complete build-out of Cingulars’ (SALMS) GSM network. My responsibilities were to install various configurations, commission upon completion, install/commission LMU unit and integrate Nokia Ultra sites. During integration process, T1’s were to be wire-wrapped and tested for link establishment—if any problems occurred during testing they were to be resolved or determined while on site if possible with MSC/BSC for proper diagnosis. Integration also did involve Antenna share cabling with Antenna cutover- As Nokia GSM were to Transmit and Receive while providing RX/Div RX to Ericsson TDMA--in some cases Ericsson TDMA provided Div RX to Nokia GSM as a temporary solution to insufficient amount of hard lines available to complete cutover.  Perimeters were also to be temporarily set through Nokia ROC for necessary testing during the integration process and custom settings to BTS were made to compensate (MHA/LNA) hardware installed on pre-existing hard lines. All other tasks involved in this Market were very similar to previous contracts.

 

5/2009 - 7/2009      Nokia Flexi Integrator

·         Responsible for Removal of Nortel BTS and Hot Swap with Nokia BTS as well as installation of new RF jumpers/Connector with passing sweep results using Anritsu. BTS was completely assembled in a Rack and Stack then delivered to field integrators where we then installed, commissioned, and integrated to the existing Network. In some cases cabinets were not configured to match the Data-fill and as a result I had to quickly disassemble and reassemble to correct the fault in order to make the maintenance window. In addition to the field work we were also responsible for pictures and site folder submittals

 

2/2009 – 4/2009      E911 TruePosition LMU Installations and Troubleshooting

·         Install, commission, troubleshoot, test and maintain LMU's at customer cell-sites.             Coordinated with Field Test, Network Design, and Program Management for mission essential           information and deliverables for the deployment of LMU's. ·         Trueposition Certified Installer, Tester, and Maintenance technician, completely installed and programmed     LMU's, installed both the 850 and 1900, in the 2106 outdoor cabinet and indoor shelters, tested the cables using the ANRITSU cable sweeper, installed the GPS antenna, Power, Color code, made and ran cables, installed downlink splitters, connected the T1 through the Kentrox unit and mini circuits, proficient with the PROCOMM PLUS software, TDOA/Scout, responsible for pictures, worked directly with the NOC and the Bridge.....WLS Harvesting....

8/2006 – 9/2006 Teksystems/TNS/Contract

·         DRIVE TESTING, 911 testing, Verify each quadrant, Alpha, Beta, Gamma sections. Entering Results in an Excel format, and relaying to the NOC. TNS-Texas Market. ·         EXI-Sanfrancisco Market. Installation, Integration and troubleshooting of the Ericsson GSM and UMTS BTS indoor and outdoor equipment. RBS 3106, 2106, 3206, 3303, 2206. Call testing, T1 testing and site surveys, Understand Antenna systems and RF transmissions.  Provide clear, concise reports of technical issues. Provide continuous performance analysis of system and prioritize issues for investigation and resolution. 5/2006 – 7/2006 Comsresources/RXAIT/Contract

·         Integration installation and troubleshooting of the 3G Ericsson 3106 UMTS and Ericsson 2106 GSM wireless equipment, also installed Andrews proprietary equipment (duplexers, dual duplexers, and diplexers) which split the 850 MHz GSM and 1900 MHz UMTS signals. Worked directly with the local NOC when troubleshooting and bringing the new system online. Installation of Andrews Connectors.

4/2006- 5/2006 Teksystems/Verizon/Contract

·               T1 installation for HDSL services, verified facilities to run the T1 services, record keeping for any pair change. Closing orders after completion. Worked directly with the CRCC dept, responsible for inventory. Used specialized equipment, T-berd, and Sidekick, as well as a variety of hand tools.

·            AT@T certified Level 3 installer, responsible for complete installation Tellabs 5500, 5550 and 532L, installed DS1, DS3, T1, and T3 racks. Wire wrapping, Lacing /Stitching, understanding specifications and equipment requirements, knowing color codes, pulling and installing power to the BDFB. DC power certified. Trained with ironwork /bays/equipment rack installation. Installing and terminating fiber to OC3, OC12, OC48 and OC192.

1/ 2006  - 2/ 2006 Atlas Communication/ Telecom Site Surveyor Contract/LMU Installer

·        100% travel. Verify in building layout with Cingular provided cad drawing. Install LMU E911and other additional hardware, GPS/GSM antenna, make and route RF cables, install and ground polyphasers, program LMU, update firmware on LMU, Take pictures of completed site.
Verify coordinates with GPS. DC power plant capacity. ·         Installed the Lexmark 632L printer to the Wal-Mart Smart System. Pulled and punched down CAT-5 cables up to 350 ft. Made connectors using proper color coded connections 

        Tested wall connectivity to the switch. Installed printers on the network and set up DHCP,    BOOTP on the WINS server.

7/2001 – 3/2004 Southwestern Bell /Cable Splicer

·         Installed and tested 1.544 from the frame to the cross box, on to the customer premise. Installed and maintained cable systems and distribution equipment. Utilized engineered drawings, and technical manuals to determine requirements for cable systems. Ensured techniques, materials, and performance were in ordinance with technical standards. Performed pneumatic troubleshooting to locate faulty splice cases. Employed test equipment to determine course of signal deterioration in voice and data circuits.
